The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You'll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for a WCA (Work Capability Assessment) benefit. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

- Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
- Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)
- Hybrid/home working available
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell 5 more days + pension
- Southend based when working on site
- NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided
