Job Title: Automation Testing Engineer

Location : London/Ipswich

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Robot Framework, and networking concepts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing automation test cases, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and building robust network-related test scenarios using automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python.
  • Build automation solutions for network testing, leveraging deep knowledge of networking protocols and configurations.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable software delivery.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work closely with developers and DevOps teams to resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and frameworks.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Python: Strong hands-on experience in scripting and automation.
  • Robot Framework: Expertise in designing and maintaining automation test suites.
  • Networking: Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and ability to automate network-related testing.
  • Test Automation: Experience in building and scaling automated test frameworks.
  • CI/CD: Proficiency in integrating tests with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Quality Assurance: Knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
