This tax-led, independent firm is a true partnership - collaborative and supportive. Staff are well looked after and everyone pulls together for the good of the firm and its clients. Senior management are listened to by the partners and actively involved in decisions. Promotions are entirely on merit.
The existing corporate tax partners are very busy and need additional support from an experienced senior manager. This could be someone who has ambitions to make director and partner, or someone who enjoys operating at senior manager level.
As a senior manager, you will have responsibility for a broad ranging portfolio of SMEs, groups and the UK entities of large international groups spread across a variety of industry sectors. Your role will involve a mix of compliance and compliance review, and advisory. At least 50% of your time will be spent on advisory work and projects which typically include reorganisations, demergers, disposals, transfer pricing, financing and cross border transactions.
The role would suit someone with ACA and/or CTA and 5+ years' experience of CT compliance and advisory work. You should enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, mentoring and reviewing more junior staff (all of whom are experienced), assisting the partners who are all very accessible and approachable and interacting with the clients.
The firm has embraced flexibility, with a well established hybrid working pattern (2 days wfh per week), and a core hours policy.
