We’re partnered with a well-established MSP based in Central London that’s seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role that blends complex technical escalations with project delivery and process improvement. The right candidate will be proactive, solution-focused, and passionate about automation and continuous improvement.
You'll be involved in the full project lifecycle, everything from scoping and planning to delivery and post-implementation support. You’ll also act as a senior escalation point for the 1st and 2nd Line teams, helping to mentor and guide junior engineers. Key Responsibilities:- Solid experience as a 2nd/3rd Line or Senior Engineer in a Managed Service Provider environment
- Proven track record in delivering infrastructure and cloud projects, including migrations, upgrades, and deployments
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and networking
- A genuine passion for automation and improving technical processes (PowerShell, scripting, Logic Apps)
- Strong experience with ConnectWise (ticketing, RMM, and documentation systems)
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead client discussions and mentor junior team members
- A proactive and strategic mindset - always thinking one step ahead to prevent issues and improve performance
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Security & Compliance)
- Microsoft Azure (Azure AD, Conditional Access, VMs, Resource Groups, Networking)
- Windows Server & Active Directory (Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services)
- Networking - Meraki, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, switching/routing
- Automation & Scripting - PowerShell, Logic Apps, runbooks (desirable but not essential)
- ConnectWise - PSA, ticketing, RMM (essential experience)
