The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 ÂŁ per year.
Working closely with the Graphics and Technical Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing the graphics department and all reprographics tasks to ensure that all work is completed on time. Knowledge of management, reprographics, and Esko systems is required.
You will work within a multi-disciplinary Graphics department ensuring the information required to complete tasks is accurate and in full. Communicating with stakeholders to secure additional information if required and managing graphic approvals. Keeping them up-to-date of continually moving schedules and providing reports as required.
This role forms the link between customers, external sales, customer services, and production teams throughout Graphic Packaging – resolving all the short-term day-to-day issues and managing long-term project plans in a reprographics environment.
Technical Skills- Management experience is required to manage the reprographics team and customer expectations.
- Good technical knowledge of Esko WebCenter, Automation Engine, and Artpro+ is a positive.
- Extensive knowledge of reprographics to support complex reprographics.
- Delegation of tasks within the department.
- Set yearly goals and targets for the team supporting the graphics and technical design manager.
- Support sales teams and their customers with technical support.
- Manage the inbox and delegate emails as necessary.
- Complete retailer artwork approval tasks, ensuring they meet graphic packaging reprographics specifications and use knowledge of best practices.
- Responsible for ensuring all Graphics projects follow company processes driven by other departments within this business.
- Chase tasks through the approval process proactively where required.
- Converse with stakeholders from a graphics requirement perspective.
- Understand detail and information required to complete briefs.
- Promptly and proactively request missing information from internal & external sales and customers with a “high customer service” perspective.
- Be able to understand and challenge deadlines requested.
- Manage customers’ expectations in a positive way.
- Prioritise workload based on specific knowledge such as customer importance and potential value of business.
- Understand timescales required to complete tasks to aid the scheduling process.
- Ability to filter requests logged and reschedule if necessary.
- Be part of the team to help drive continuous improvement using Esko software supporting key stakeholders internally across estimating, internal sales, external sales, and the creative teams as well as external stakeholders in our customer base.
- Be aware of the department's workload and provide assistance within the department in busy periods.
- Understand system requirements within the WebCenter software to improve digital artwork flow management.
