About the Role
Are you passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and building strong supplier partnerships? My prestigious client is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure the global supply chain delivers products that meet their high standards and specifications. You’ll play a pivotal role in supplier development, qualification, and audit processes—supporting both their technical teams and strategic procurement efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct supplier audits, qualifications, and evaluations in collaboration with global and local teams.
- Develop and maintain annual audit plans and ensure follow-ups are completed.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts by monitoring supplier KPIs and managing NCRs.
- Create and enhance global procedures for supplier qualification and quality management.
- Provide technical support to suppliers and internal stakeholders across procurement, design, and operations.
- There will be some travelling in the UK, Europe and overseas depending upon where the suppliers are located.
About you!
- Education: Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: Prior experience in supplier quality—ideally within the Manufacturing/Engineering sector.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Certification: Qualified Auditor (internal or external).
- Personality: Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive problem-solver.
