Where will you be working?
M Group Rail and Aviation:
- Aviation - Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports, and RAF airfields.
- Defence and adjacent markets - We manage reactive and planned maintenance and upgrades on defence properties, airfields, military bases, ports, railway infrastructure, and depots.
What will you be doing?
You will assist and learn from other surveyors undertaking utility and land surveys. You will work as part of a team and integrate with all other members of staff. With the survey team, you will provide technical services to a range of construction-related disciplines, including invaluable support to our divisional teams and departments within design and construction phases of projects.

What you’ll bring:
- Full UK driving license.
- 5 year traceable employment/studying records.
- Ability and willingness to work flexibly (day/night shift/away from base location).
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word etc).
- Ability to work as part of a team and desire to learn new skills or develop existing ones.
- Basic site experience/CSCS accreditation.
- Ability to interpret technical information and drawings.
- Level 3 QCF Certificate in Utility Mapping and Surveying.
