Job Solutions Ltd are delighted to be working with our well established client with their permanent recruitment for an experienced Sheet Metal Production Operative. You will be part of a dynamic manufacturing business that continues to grow year-on-year. The ideal candidate must be hard-working, a team-player and be willing to help and share knowledge with others. A can-do attitude is essential!

The job will require you to:

• Lead by example in all aspects of the role, including promoting the correct workplace behaviours
• Be proactive in finding solutions
• Ideally, have a minimum of 5 years of on-the-job experience setting and operating cold roll-forming lines
• Work with a range of metals including pre-coated steel and aluminium
• Previous experience with CNC guillotines, brake-press and metal-folding machines advantageous but not essential
• Be able to read and produce to fabrication drawings and determine the correct tooling (training provided)
• Work to tight tolerances + defined QA processes, using micrometres, gauges and other precision-instruments
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Perform basic maintenance on machines to keep them in good working order

Other job requirements:

• Fork-lift license required B2 preferable but B1 minimum requirement
• Sideloader license advantageous but not essential
• An attention to detail and excellent time keeping
• Ability to use hand tools for adjustments and repairs
• Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations
• Can work alone or as part of a team
• Drivers license preferable
• First Aider & Fire-Marshall certification preferable but not essential

This is a permanent position to work within an experienced team. Annual Salary £30,750.00 – £34,00.00 DOE
