The Crowe UK Corporate Finance team comprises 9 Partners and approx. 60 employees specialising in advisory and transaction services.

The Global Corporate Advisers (GCA) group is a special interest group formed of senior Corporate Finance representatives from Crowe Global members firms, focussed on driving cross-border activity.

Overview of the role

As an Executive Support Manager in the Corporate Finance team, you will be given the opportunity to join a leading, growing advisory team and be part of an experienced team supporting the Crowe Global network to deliver exceptional client service.

The role will involve supporting senior team members focussed on driving growth and collaboration for the GCA in addition to supporting the UK Corporate Finance team in its daily activities.

You’ll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks, but you’ll also be confident collaborating with others, communicating regularly with Partners, Directors and global teams to enable us to drive cross border activity. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and efficiency and supporting the team to deliver to our clients.

Key requirements:

  • Provide an exceptional standard of administrative and analytical support to GCA and the Corporate team.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with internal teams and GCA representatives.
  • Be a self-motivated, resourceful problem solver, proactive, accountable and responsible for own workload.
  • Take a proactive approach and be able to prioritise and manage high volumes of work.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail to deliver accuracy in outputs.
  • Utilise internal and external resources to help solve problems and devise effective solutions.
  • Excellent communicator, able to build and maintain collaborative working relations with all colleagues and clients.
  • Exercise confidentiality, discretion and personal sensitivity in all aspects of the role.
  • Be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.

As an Executive Support Manager in Corporate Finance, you will be expected to:

For the GCA

  • Liaise with GCA members on a regular basis to collate deal activity information and update GCA collateral to reflect the same.
  • Take responsibility for GCA marketing materials and the regular update of the same.
  • Using market research and data base tools, undertake and summarise targeted research on various industries and geographies to provide insights and analysis to GCA members with a view to supporting business development and origination.
  • Support in the co-ordination of regular calls and in-person meetings between GCA members across various service lines – taking responsibility for action points and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Co-ordinate GCA marketing initiatives with the support of Crowe marketing teams, including updating appropriate social media content and activity.
  • Support GCA members with the production of appropriate proposal documentation as required for cross border opportunities.
  • Develop strong, trusting, and credible working relationships with senior staff on engagements, and other key business stakeholders where applicable.
  • Project manage and prioritise the completion of tasks to enable deadlines to be met.
  • Book travel arrangements, ensuring efficient use of time and minimal expenditure.
  • Manage GCA online document repository ensuring content is up to date and relevant.

For Crowe UK

  • Using market research and analysis tools and databases to undertake industry, sector, market, company and investor research to support the Corporate Finance team with its business development and origination programme.
  • Formatting of information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations and reports and ensuring production of high-quality accurate documents according to Crowe brand templates.
  • Update information on CRM systems as required.
  • Support the team with new client on-boarding procedures.
  • Collate and keep up to date national deal information and ensure marketing collateral is kept up to date accordingly.
  • Support the Corporate Finance team with the organisation of business development events and activities when required.
  • Support the Corporate Finance team with the production of proposal documents.

Person specification

  • Experience gained from working in a medium/large fast-paced corporate environment preferred.
  • Previous experience of working in a professional services firm would be preferential but not necessary.
  • Flexibility required to work outside of normal office hours when circumstances arise.
  • Flexible working arrangements would be considered but the expectation would be a minimum of 3 full days in the office per week.
