We are seeking an ambitious individual to work in a detail-oriented environment. The role involves conducting retrofit assessments on individual properties to secure funding for energy efficiency improvements in privately owned homes and housing association/social housing partner homes throughout the South Yorkshire/North Derbyshire area. All CPD required for maintenance of the role will be supported with regular review of upskilling to encompass additional skills sets such as air tightness testing.
About the Role:
- Conducting Energy Assessments in accordance with PAS2035:2019 requirements and in line with Accreditation Body Standards.
- Using in-house solutions/customer provisioned solutions to carry out energy assessments required for SHDF/ECO4/GBIS funding requirements.
- To be deployed in the South Yorkshire/North Derbyshire area to carry out energy assessments for Sustainable Energy Services and Sustainable Building Services as required.
- To travel to locations where supply of energy assessors may be required to support the assessment and review of properties in need of energy efficiency improvements.
- To work with our sub-contracted Retrofit Coordinators to ensure joined up thinking is applied to funding requirements where lodgement to Trustmark is needed.
- To arrange diaries either by liaising with the Sustainable Energy Services team or by liaising with the Local Site Manager/Tenant Liaison Officers to access residents' homes at the right place at the right time.
- To ensure all documentation is collated and administrated to the right point of collection for appropriate parties (administrators, Retrofit Coordinators or managers) to review.
- To be presentable, punctual and professional in engagement with the residents/customers and members of the community and company employees as necessary.
- To ensure that line management understand availability and plans for the week ahead to ensure appropriate utilization of your capacity.
Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience surveying/assessing properties for energy efficient improvements.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment and Retrofit Assessment.
Pay range and compensation package:
- £40,000 to £44,000 plus Car Allowance.
Renumeration Package:
- Salary: £40,000 to £44,000 DOE.
- Car Allowance: £4,500.
