A&G Resourcing Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a temp-perm role with our client in Avonmouth. This position offers great pay, regular weekday shifts, and the opportunity for overtime on Saturdays.
Key Details:
- Monday to Friday with optional overtime every other Saturday
- Start Time: 5:00 AM
- Deliveries: 2-3 per day
- Hourly Rate: £16.50/hr (PAYE) + Holiday Pay
- Saturday Overtime: £19.50/hr
- Perm salary: £38,765pa
Main Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV and adhere to all driving regulations
- Perform vehicle checks before each shift
- Ensure goods are delivered in a safe and timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid UK C+E driving licence
- Valid CPC and Tachograph card
- Minimum of 6 months of HGV Class 1 experience
- Experience with flatbed vehicles
- Clean driving record (no more than 6 points on your licence)
