We are working with a fast-growth DTC sports brand in Essex to help them hire for a newly created role on their team, a Head of Ecommerce. The brand has experienced rapid growth over the last 2 years and there is a strong DTC push with over 40% of their overall sales being through Amazon & via their website.
As Head of Ecommerce, you will spearhead their global DTC strategy across 4 major markets - UK, Germany, Japan & US, taking the brand to the next level. There will be a focus on strategic leadership, enhancing the customer journey & user experience as well as introducing loyalty/subscription programmes.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and define the global digital strategy to accelerate growth, championing a seamless and engaging customer journey across all platforms.
- Build, develop, and grow a high-performing team.
- Oversee a robust programme of UX enhancements and A/B testing to continuously optimise site performance.
- Drive SEO performance with technical enhancements and strategic content initiatives to maximise traffic and conversions.
- Boost customer lifetime value (LTV) through innovative loyalty programs, subscriptions, and personalised experiences.
- Own the commercial performance of all websites, leading campaigns and promotions that captivate and convert.
- Analyse data and uncover growth opportunities, translating insights into clear, actionable strategies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Design, Operations, and Finance to elevate the digital experience.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years experience working in Ecommerce.
- Experience working in high-growth DTC, product-based brands.
- A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly Analytical with a strong understanding of Google Analytics and SEMrush.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and growing teams.
- Comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
- Experience managing multi-territory websites; familiarity with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce is a plus.
- A passion for sports or competitive products is a bonus!
