Our clients are the market leader in the shipping and logistics industry offering an end-to-end service, based at their London Gateway (Stanford le Hope, Essex) location. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team with an immediate start or subject to notice period offer. Our client has an exciting, new opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join their dynamic team based at the Stanford Le Hope branch. You will join on a full-time, permanent basis and in return receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

As their Warehouse Operator your role will include all aspects of receiving and shipment of goods. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who understands groupage and ideally with a forklift license too. Our client is looking for a candidate who can commit to full-time work on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities of our Warehouse Operative include:

  • Effective materials handling
  • Order fulfilment – end to end process
  • Forklift duties – current license required
  • Understanding of groupage and best practices
  • Health & Safety within a busy warehouse environment
  • Some heavy lifting
  • Carry out any other reasonable task as may be allocated by the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor

Monday to Friday with occasional overtime 8am to 5pm
