Legal Counsel- Asset Management

Junior Legal Counsel Location: Central London (Hybrid) Compensation: Our client is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join its London-based team. This is a broad in-house role, ideal for a newly qualified solicitor looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic scale-up environment. You will support a wide range of legal, commercial, and compliance matters as part of a small legal team, reporting directly to the General Counsel. Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts including vendor agreements, NDAs, and commercial partnerships. Provide legal guidance across departments such as product, marketing, operations, and customer service. Support equity-related matters, including growth and share option schemes. Work alongside compliance and DPO teams to ensure adherence to financial and data protection regulations. Monitor legal risks, help manage complaints, claims, and potential disputes. Review technology-related agreements such as SaaS and software licensing contracts. Partner with teams including product, engineering, and business development to align legal input with operational goals. Provide legal input for ESG-related initiatives and sustainability strategies.
