I currently have two similar roles, one based in Sheffield with an exciting start-up company working on Semiconductor Sensor Technology focusing on design-in, Electronic Reference Design and focus on Optical / Semiconductor products both internally and externally. They have an intermediate and a Senior Applications Engineer working on Semiconductor and Optical Technology.
The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree with experience in Semiconductor or Optical Devices with proven experience working as an Applications Engineer.
Key skills should include:
- Electronic Design for Reference / Design-in
- Test and Measurement of Semiconductor Devices or Optical Technologies
Other areas of interest will include:
- PCB Design / Schematics
- Signal Integrity
- RF and High Speed Optical Systems
