Principal Fire Engineer – Lead the Launch of a New UK Operation (Location Flexible) Here’s a rare and exciting opportunity for a seasoned fire safety professional to take the lead in launching a brand-new UK office for one of Ireland’s most respected fire engineering consultancies. We’re looking for a Principal Fire Engineer who’s ready to take a step up—not just in technical leadership, but in shaping a growing business and building something from the ground up in England. The role at a glance: You’ll lead fire strategy design and delivery across a variety of projects Take charge of developing new client relationships and expanding existing ones Be at the forefront of growing and shaping the UK business alongside a supportive leadership team What makes this different? We’re looking for someone who: Knows the regs inside out – ADB, BS 9999, BS 9991, Gateway 1 & 2, etc. Has experience with Fire Risk Assessments, EWS1, CFD modelling Brings commercial awareness and is confident working directly with clients Has their own ideas on how to add more value in this space Ideally comes with a few contacts or clients who trust their expertise Preferably Chartered (or close to it) with solid UK fire strategy experience Location: We’re flexible.
