Following the promotion of previous Director of Sales, David Macfarlane, into the CEO role, we are now looking for a new Director of Sales. This role will be focused on maintaining the business’s number 1 market share position in its key markets and playing a critical role in identifying new opportunities for growth. One of the keys to success with this opportunity is recognising the very high value that each member of the team contributes and ensuring that they are managed in a positive fashion.
The role sits as part of a strong SMT, working particularly closely with Finance, Marketing, Technology and Education operations. It is an exciting time to join the business with opportunity for contribution into the M&A strategy, pricing and qualification delivery innovation.
The role requires an empathetic leader with a strong, strategic sales background. Experience of selling to both B2C and B2B markets is required, with experience in education or SaaS environments advantageous.
On offer is a competitive base salary with bonus, MIP and other attractive benefits. The role will be two days a week on-site in central Glasgow.
