About the role
As our Trailer Technician/Fitter, you play a vital part of our operation. You will engage in a variety of tasks from routine maintenance to challenging roadside repairs, ensuring our clients' trailers are always in top condition. Whether you're servicing on-site or preparing trailers for MOT, your work will directly impact our unmatched service quality.
Other key duties include:
- Cover on-site servicing and handle breakdowns as needed.
- Prepare trailers for MOT in our well-equipped workshop.
- Attend to roadside breakdowns and perform repairs/servicing at customer sites.
- Conduct quayside trailer checks and repairs.
- Uphold our rigorous Health and Safety standards.
- Demonstrate efficiency, promptness, and responsibility in all tasks.
We are looking for Trailer Technicians/Fitters with relevant engineering or mechanical skills, ideally with prior experience in a similar role. Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure are essential. A full driving licence is required, and while a C+E licence is advantageous, we are willing to provide training. We welcome Trailer Technician/Fitter applicants with less experience who have a mechanical background, offering a promising start with the opportunity to earn between £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience and overtime.
