Intune Deployment Engineer β 3 Month Contract (Outside IR35)
Location: On-site, London (W1), 3 days per week
Weβre looking for a hands-on Intune Deployment Engineer with a strong background in supporting Windows users on-site. You'll be the go-to person for device onboarding, troubleshooting, and general user support across a modern desktop environment. The role focuses on delivering smooth day-to-day technical support while also contributing to wider deployment and migration projects involving Intune, AutoPilot, SCCM and Citrix.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person Windows support (2nd and 3rd line) to end users, including device troubleshooting, software issues, and setup assistance.
- Lead on deploying and onboarding laptops using AutoPilot and Intune, ensuring a seamless experience for users.
- Handle device enrolment, configuration issues, application deployment problems, and patching using Intune and SCCM.
- Support the migration from SCCM / Co-managed environments to fully Intune-managed devices.
- Assist in the transition from Citrix XenApp to Citrix Cloud, resolving user access and configuration issues.
- Package and deploy basic applications with minimal customisation and ensure successful delivery to end users.
- Take full ownership of incidents and requests, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and share knowledge with other support teams.
Requirements:
- Solid experience supporting Windows 10/11 in an enterprise desktop environment.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, AutoPilot and SCCM, including device enrolment and deployment.
- Good knowledge of Citrix platforms (XenApp and Citrix Cloud).
- Confident communicator with a strong customer-service mindset and the ability to support users face-to-face.
- Comfortable working independently on-site and coordinating with off-site support or engineering teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment and configuration issues at a 3rd line level.
- Strong documentation and collaboration skills.
