Robert Half are recruiting a Finance Analyst for a Wiltshire based business for up to 6 months. Office based 3 days per week, in Wiltshire. We are currently recruiting for a 6-month contract position with a focus on financial reporting, analysis, and month-end accounting tasks. If you have experience with Power BI, excel in advanced Excel functionalities, and thrive in a collaborative accounting environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide detailed financial reporting on costs, sales, and margins to support key business decisions.
  • Carry out month-end accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
  • Utilise Power BI to develop and maintain data models and dashboards that bring financial insights to life.
  • Develop advanced models, analyses, and reporting in Excel tailored to business needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with Power BI and advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, macros).
  • Proven ability to handle month-end accounting tasks confidently and efficiently.
  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or similar) or qualified by experience (QBE) in a similar finance role.
  • A solid understanding of financial reporting requirements, including cost, sales, and margin analysis.
