A place where you can actually love your job. We’re working on behalf of an award-winning, independent estate agency in Cambridge that’s built its reputation not on scripts or sales pressure, but on service, trust, and results. They’ve got a name in the market, and clients come to them. You won’t be spending your time cold calling – this is about doing the job properly, with the support of an experienced team behind you.

You want to feel proud of where you work. To walk into an office where people have your back, not compete with you for commission. A place where the team genuinely pulls together, the mornings start with a coffee and a catch-up—not pressure—and summer rounders games and proper Christmas parties aren’t “team-building” exercises, they’re just what happens when people like each other. That’s what this role offers.

The Role

As a Lettings Negotiator, you’ll be the go-to person for landlords and tenants alike, helping people find the right homes and making sure the process runs smoothly from first viewing to key handover. The portfolio is busy, but not chaotic—well-managed, with good-quality properties and well-informed clients.

  • Arrange and attend viewings
  • Negotiate tenancy agreements
  • Offer clear, honest advice to clients
  • Maintain accurate records and follow compliance procedures
  • Help market properties through online and offline channels
  • Stay informed about market trends and legal updates

What You’ll Need:

  • Around 1 year+ of experience in lettings or a similar client-facing property role
  • Strong organisation and admin skills
  • A calm, confident communicator (written and verbal)
  • A genuine interest in property and people
  • Ability to adapt with changes in legislation and processes

What’s on Offer:

  • Realistic commission of ÂŁ5,500+ per year, starting from month one
  • Use of company car for appointments
  • Funded professional qualifications to support your growth
  • 25 days holiday
  • Company pension
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Car salary sacrifice scheme (eligibility applies)
  • On-site parking
  • Perks portal access
  • Team events and socials
  • A work culture built on trust, fairness and genuine support

The Hours:

Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability on a rota basis. This is a chance to join a company where your work is valued, your growth is supported, and your wellbeing actually matters. If you’re ready to feel proud of where you work again—this is the one.
