Solar PV Engineer Ideally based in the Warwickshire region but will cover locations in Telford, Southam and Atherstone. My client is one of the world's leading EPC service providers in the development, construction and operation of solar power plants. Founded in 2001 it has developed into an international company with around 500 employees in five different countries. To date, they have installed over 480 PV systems with a total output of more than 4 GW worldwide. As one of the world's largest O&M service providers, the solar energy specialist also takes care of operation and maintenance for a capacity of 1,7 GW of PV plants. Key responsibilities Routine maintenance, testing, and remedial work on deployed solar PV systems Complying with company procedures Performing Preventative Maintenance accordingly with the PPM annual plan Performing Corrective Maintenance as occurs Reporting of activities performed on site, upon any site visit and on a daily basis, through online reporting system. Job specific risk assessment, analysis and operational limitations. Report all near misses to manager Supervision and coordination of third-party contractors carrying out works on site Coordinate third party contractors to comply with H&S Regulations Keeping accurate and detailed records of electrical testing, that are suitable for audit Fault finding of both AC and DC systems.
