My client, an Engineering company based in Stourport-on-Severn is looking to recruit a Trainee Engineer on a Temp to Perm basis. You will be fully trained to become a Press-Break operator and have an opportunity to join an engineering company as it continues to grow its business.

The main focus of the role will include:

  • Be willing to be trained on company machines demonstrating a willingness to take instruction
  • A desire to work in a busy manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Understand the order process
  • Be able to understand manufacturing drawings eventually
  • Be responsible for buying components when necessary

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following:

  • A Full driving license is essential as you may be required to visit client sister site near Dudley
  • Strong Attention to detail is key to this role
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with an ability to get on with people at all levels

The working hours are Mon-Thurs 0730-1600 and 1300 finish on Fridays and the starting pay-rate will be £12.21 an hour.
