Temporary Contract - 6 months full time or part time. £110.67 per day PAYE + £16.60 holiday pay. Hybrid working, 2 days a week in London.
The Talent Set is delighted to partner with an esteemed Health charity as they recruit for a 6-month interim Supporter Care Officer. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporter engagement and excellent administrative skills to make a real impact. Working within a small, friendly team of three, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to donors and supporters.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Responding to fundraising inbox queries, answering phone calls, managing data entry (Raiser’s Edge), and supporting a wide range of fundraising admin tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to supporter enquiries via email, phone, and post, ensuring a positive and engaging donor experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records using the CRM system (e.g., Raiser’s Edge), including data entry, gift processing, and supporter communications.
- Support fundraising campaigns and events with administrative tasks, mailings, and logistics to help drive income and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging, timely responses, and smooth handovers where needed.
- Identify and escalate issues or trends in supporter feedback to help improve processes and enhance overall supporter satisfaction.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a supporter care, customer service, or administrative role, ideally within a charity or not-for-profit environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel), with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Confident using a CRM database, preferably Raiser’s Edge, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a warm, professional, and empathetic manner.
- Organised, proactive, and team-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a hybrid setting.
