We are currently working with a leading, private equity-backed music rights investor that is seeking a Strategy Analyst to join its growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the organisation’s strategic direction while responding to shifts in the industry. On a day-to-day basis, you will contribute to ad hoc strategic projects, conduct market analysis and benchmarking, support project management and implementation efforts, and assist with reporting and communications, among other responsibilities. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse financial reports and industry trends to identify market opportunities
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative assessments to benchmark performance
  • Track and report on regulatory, economic, and technological developments that could impact business strategy
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of strategic projects
  • Monitor progress, flag risks, and identify solutions to keep initiatives on track
  • Assist the investment team in analysing complex data to support investment decisions
  • Work with the data analysis team to assess and report on catalogue-related issues

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role or at a strategy consultancy (or equivalent)
  • Strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Prior experience with reporting tools such as PowerPoint or similar
  • A high degree of curiosity and a willingness to learn
  • TMT/Media or Music sector experience is desirable
