Not your average role…. This role is an exciting opportunity to work within our industry as part of our Engineering team. This role has responsibility for the delivery of safe, reliable, well-presented trains. The successful candidates will carry out basic engineering and servicing tasks on rail vehicles. Reference salary £36,833 per annum, Training salary £33,180 per annum. Selection Process Selection process: Assessment may be part of the recruitment process. Candidates will be invited to attend a competency-based interview. The final stage for successful candidates will be a medical examination and drug & alcohol screening. Appointees must submit at least two satisfactory references, Disclosure Scotland clearance and complete a six-month probation period. Training initially involves a 2-day virtual induction Training Programme. Medical Fitness: Due to the nature of the post and rail industry safety requirements there are certain medical & fitness standards that you would require to meet.
