My client is undergoing a major multi-year transformation to modernize their full technology stack – covering pricing, risk, market data, and trade capture. As part of this effort, they’re now entering a new phase: building out a cloud infrastructure to support the entire company.

They’re looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join a small, focused team making a big impact. The culture values simplicity, automation, testing, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to core platform development on the new cloud stack
• Modernise the entirety of their infrastructure
• Working agnostically across a variety of tools
• Opportunity to work heavily on automation
• Take ownership of projects and run with ideas from inception to execution

Tech Stack Includes:

• Cloud: AWS, Azure
• IaC: Terraform
• Languages: Python, Rust
• Databases: Postgres, Clickhouse

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A strong analytical background (maths, physics, computer science, etc.)
• Solid programming skills in Python, Rust, C++, or similar
• Experience with cloud development and architecture
• AWS expertise
• Cloud security or networking experience
• Cloud migration projects
• Open source contributions

This opening has two headcount, one of which is focused on cloud engineering and the other on core infrastructure and software development. Both will require software engineering skills.
