Are you a Cash Manager looking for a new role? Are you skilled in managing cash flow and payments in a manufacturing business or similar fast-paced organisation? Are you looking for a hands-on, operational role where organisation, accuracy, process and communication are key to success?

Kingscroft have been engaged to recruit for a Cash Manager to support the operational cash management of a specialist manufacturing group. As the ideal candidate, you will have experience of cash management and accounts payable within a manufacturing business, a multi-site operation or similar fast-paced organisation.

Working with a core head office finance team, you will be talking regularly with site account payable and receivable teams to build and maintain an accurate short and medium-term cash position.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Group cash within the facilities available.
  • Preparation of detailed monthly cash flows by site and amalgamation.
  • Issue the daily cash position to the Group Managing Director and the Group Finance Director.
  • Update cash flow reports with the daily bank statements.
  • Review and authorise daily payments in line with the agreed schedules with each site.
  • Monitor and maintain standing orders and direct debits.
  • Develop a working relationship with Banking and Finance suppliers.
  • Drawdown from financing as and when required depending on the availability and short-term funding needs.
  • Liaise with Site Accounts payable clerk to agree payments. Ensure that control processes are followed.
  • Ensure that the Group Managing Directors has authorised the invoices for which the payments are being requested.
  • Ensure that the payments are in line with the agreed payment terms.
  • Prepare and issue Group availability (BSF) on a weekly basis.
  • Agree weekly payments with each site Accounts payable clerk.
  • Ensure that payments are aligned with the upload forecast provided by each site.
