HGV Class 1 day Driver needed for day shifts for immediate starts in Pineham, Northampton working a Monday to Friday shift pattern - £17.00ph.
Pure Staff are recruiting for HGV Class 1 day Driver working day shifts for the following role below.
- Monday to Friday Shift Pattern
- Pay rates - days: £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book annual leave.
Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or Payroll Processing Fees.
A site induction, driving assessment and drug & alcohol test will be carried out on site. You must pass all 3 to be considered for this role.
Duties of a HGV Class 1 day Driver:
- RDC trunking and store deliveries
- Handball involved to help unload the trailer
- Cage deliveries
- Modern, well looked after trucks
- Daily Vehicle checks
- A professional manner when dealing with the end customer
- Always wearing the correct PPE whilst working (safety Boots and Hi-Vis)
Start times can vary but we are looking to start between 06:00-09:00 on days. Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
HGV Drivers required immediately for temporary work for a client who specialises in RDC and store deliveries across the UK. Our customer in Northampton is one of our largest clients based in the Northamptonshire area and are well known for treating their drivers well from previous positive feedback.
The customer is looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers who are flexible to work a Monday to Friday shift pattern.
The ideal HGV Class 1 Day Driver will have:
- A valid HGV C+E HGV Class 1 Driver License
- 2 years' experience is essential for this role
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digital Card
- Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes
