Are you an experienced RPG Developer looking to take your career to the next level? Chapman Tate Associates is working with a leading retail organisation seeking a talented RPG Developer to join their team.

As an RPG Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting RPG-based applications within a fast-paced retail environment:

  • Design, develop, and maintain RPG programs for retail business applications.
  • Optimise and debug code for performance and functionality improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software on time.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in RPG programming (RPG IV, ILE, and Free Format).
  • Strong understanding of retail business processes, including supply chain, inventory management, and sales.
  • Knowledge of SQL and DB2 databases.
  • Exposure to modern development practices like DevOps, CI/CD, or Cloud Technologies is a plus.
