Job Description
We currently seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for our client in Brighton on a 3 month contract to start ASAP.\\n\\nThe rate of pay will be negotiated between £21-22 an hour. This will be Full Time Contract, Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00.\\n\\nAs a Recovery Worker you will be required to:\\n\\n * Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey;\\n\\n * Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral;\\n\\n * Reducing alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community;\\n\\n * Promoting carer, service user and community involvement;\\n\\n * Providing advocacy for access to partnership services;\\n\\n * Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self determination.\\n\\nAn Enhanced Adults and Children's DBS will be required for this position
