We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor-developer in the West Midlands who is seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional with a strong background in residential development to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects from inception through to completion.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full development lifecycle across a range of mid-to-large scale residential schemes. You will oversee planning applications, manage design and procurement processes, and work closely with internal teams including construction, land, and commercial. Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and external stakeholders, you will ensure that all developments are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential development management, ideally gained in a contractor-developer or client-side environment. A thorough understanding of planning policy, viability assessments, and construction processes is essential, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
