Blackfield Associates are assisting in the search for an Automation Engineer for an international pharma organisation. The primary purpose of this automation position is to support the final installation and commissioning phase of a Filling Line, to help continued development and support of the manufacturing processes.
The main focus of this position will be to work as part of the Automation team during the installation and commissioning phase of a filling line. You will need to be skilled in Siemens Tia Portal and have experience with Functional Safety circuits, and experience with other major automation systems will be an added advantage.
Qualifications:- Primary degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5 years’ + experience
- Candidates need to have significant experience working with automation and equipment controls within a pharma-manufacturing or similarly regulated environment
- SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems
- Siemens Tia Portal
- Installation and commissioning experience
- Functional Safety circuits
This is a contract role for 12 months outside IR35.
