We are currently recruiting for 2 Class 1 Drivers to join our client's busy operation in Southampton on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established company.

About the Role:

  • Operating curtain-sided and box trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Making timely deliveries to airports and ports across the region.
  • Transporting a range of duty-free food, drink, and general goods.
  • Undertaking manual labour, including the use of a manual pump truck and moving cages.
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and in a professional manner.
  • Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and company procedures.
  • Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

What We're Looking For:

  • A valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
  • A valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • A digital tachograph card.
  • Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles (ideally 2 years experience but flexible).
  • Comfortable with manual handling tasks.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights out and weekends (enhanced rates apply).
