The predicted salary is between 27809 - 39115 £ per year.

Salary: £34,762.15

Contract Length: 6 Month FTC

Location: Newport

Purpose:

  • To assist the Head of Housing in providing a cost effective, responsive, customer focused and quality area housing service with particular focus on work aimed at preventing, reducing and tackling anti-social behaviour.
  • To advise the Housing Team Leader and Housing Managers on all community safety matters.
  • To assist the Housing Team Leaders and Housing Managers to ensure the community safety service meets local needs.
  • To provide occasional out of hours service to residents who are experiencing fear, nuisance, and distress as a result of anti-social behaviour.
  • To assist the Housing Team Leaders and Housing Managers to maximise the involvement of the Associations residents and prospective residents in its community safety service and to ensure its customers are consulted on a regular basis.
  • To provide a high quality, responsive and customer focused service to the local community and partner agencies, consistent with achieving continuous improvement in satisfaction levels.
  • To undertake complex case and legal work and attend court as and when required.
  • To ensure that residents and prospective residents receive the maximum possible information about the services provided by the Association.
  • To assist the Housing Team Leaders and Managers in ensuring that the community safety service complies with relevant legislation, good practice, regulatory requirements and agreed performance/service targets.
  • To assist housing management staff members in identifying residents who need support in sustaining their tenancies and making the necessary referrals for support.
  • To assist in the identification and promotion of new initiatives to help combat anti-social behaviour.
  • To provide regular feedback and support to victims and witnesses of anti-social behaviour.
  • Ensure effective information and case management, including maintaining and updating case records via the anti-social behaviour database and relevant systems.
  • To provide support to the Housing Team Leaders and Housing Managers when required.
  • To undertake any other relevant duties as determined by the Line Manager, Association or Chief Executive.
