For nhow London, we are looking for a Maintenance Assistant, a multi-tasking technician who will support the Chief Engineer in keeping the hotel working at the very best levels possible.

Main tasks and responsibilities of our Maintenance Assistant:
- To undertake standard electrical, plumbing and decorative repairs to a high standard.
- To liaise with and monitor contract staff in the performance of their duties.
- To ensure the security of guests, personnel and company property throughout the hotel.
- To maintain a high level of knowledge of all emergency maintenance procedures.
- In the absence of Maintenance Management, to call in contract staff as required.
- To respond to all maintenance requests in the order of priority set out by the Chief Engineer or by your own initiative in their absence.
- Work shifts on a rota basis covering other technicians where necessary.
- To support the Chief Engineer in ensuring correct compliance with all related company/statutory policies e.g.: COSHH, H&S hygiene policies, fire regulations.
Knowledge and skills:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Assistant (multi-tasking technician).
- Preferably with trade qualifications from City and Guilds or equivalent.
- Good understanding of all major trades, including plumbing, painting/decorating and electrical.
- A good understanding of the English Language.
- Highly organised and ability to multi-task in a driven manner.
- A true team player.
