Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Mainstream

Value Education are looking for enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across EYFS-KS2, at the Primary schools we support in the Rochdale area. The ideal candidates will have a passion for education and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs. Teaching Assistant duties: Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead Ensuring the classroom is a tidy and safe environment for the children Assisting with group activities Leading interventions Occasionally covering lessons in the absense of the teacher Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis Support across a range of year groups Teaching Assistant requirements: 1 year or more previous experience working with children Confident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staff Be able to handle difficult situations efficiently Have effective behaviour management Be inspired to help students learn in new and exciting ways Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience) If this sounds like the role for you – please click ‘apply’, upload a recent copy of your CV and I will be in touch.
