We are delighted to be partnering with a highly reputable, family run contractor that have a fantastic reputation within the refubishment, fit-out and new build construction sector on projects up to £10m in value. With a mix of directly negotiated work and framework contracts, the business has seen their turnover grow steadily over the past 24 months, and now need to add an experienced QS into the team. Reporting in the Commercial Manager, you will join an existing team of 3 to help deliver a variety new build and refurbishment projects. Key Duties of the position will include:- * The procurement of sub-contractors and suppliers is undertaken in a timely and cost effective manner * Effective cash management including pursuit of timely Applications/ Certification/Invoices/internal notices and receipts, careful administration of subcontractor accounts. * Keeping the Commercial Manager informed of the progress of all accounts both Client and Sub-contract * Attending weekly/monthly project and client meetings * Timely production of the Subcontract Final Accounts, including re-measurement as necessary.
