We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of and deliver complex, multi-million pound data centre construction projects in various European locations. This role provides significant autonomy, flexible working, and a meritocratic pathway for professional growth within a team of leading experts.
Our client is a well-established and highly respected project management consultancy specialising in the data centre sector. They are experiencing continued growth and are known for managing complex and high-value projects across Europe. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex data centre construction projects with values upwards of £200 million and power capacities exceeding 10MW. This will involve managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from inception and planning through to execution, commissioning, and handover. You will be the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded. You will lead and motivate project teams, manage budgets and schedules, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. This role requires a proactive and strategic individual with the ability to work autonomously and drive successful project outcomes across multiple European locations.
A successful Senior Project Manager should have:
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry, with a strong and demonstrable track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager in a consultancy or client-side environment.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within the Data Centre sector is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality projects.
