Job Description
Are you passionate about supporting children with complex educational needs?\\n\\nA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and dynamic school in Exeter. This is a long-term role where you will play an essential part in helping children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs reach their full potential.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nWork alongside the classroom teacher to provide tailored support for students with SEMH and complex educational needs.\\nAssist in delivering individualised and group interventions to support students' social, emotional, and academic development.\\nSupport students in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.\\nFoster a nurturing and inclusive classroom culture.\\nLiaise with other staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for the students. \\n\\nKey Requirements:\\n\\nA minimum of 6 months experience working in a UK school setting.\\nProven experience working with children with complex educational needs, specifically SEMH.\\nAbility to engage, motivate, and support students with challenging behaviours.\\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\\nA DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is mandatory.\\nEligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
