We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our Facility Maintenance clients. The role will be covering Crewe with regional travel and comes with a salary of £44,000.
Responsibilities for Commercial Gas Engineer
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks within required timeframes
- Conduct PPM, proactive and reactive maintenance on commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC systems
- Carry out additional building services maintenance, including fabric, mechanical, and HVAC-related tasks
- Provide callout support as per the designated rota
- Maintain cleanliness and order in plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas
- Execute new installations, major and minor repair works on client heating systems
- Diagnose and repair system faults, including basic electrical fault-finding
Requirements for Commercial Gas Engineer
- Proven experience in reactive maintenance
- Core Safety Certification: COCN1
- Commercial Gas Certifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
- Desirable Domestic Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1, ICAE1
- Strong installation capabilities
- Valid UK Driver’s License
