Location: Wheathampstead (Office-based 1 day per week)Hours: 20 hours per week, flexible across the weekSalary: £30,500 FTE (equivalent to £15,250 for 20 hours/week)We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Office Admin Assistant to join a small, friendly team on a part-time basis. The role will support the company accountant with both finance and office admin tasks.About the Role:This is a varied role supporting both finance and general office administration. You’ll play a key part in keeping the financial operations running smoothly and ensuring the day-to-day office tasks are under control.Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciling bank accounts for 2 main entities
- Supplier reconciliations both aged and going forward
- Utility company invoice reconciliations
- Processing supplier payments
- General office admin and support tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in finance or bookkeeping
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident with Excel and accounting systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Able to manage time effectively and work independently
- Friendly, can-do attitude
