The successful applicant will be responsible for the operational management of the Captive division. This role will involve driving the growth of the business, ensuring regulatory compliance and building strong relationships with clients, regulators and internal teams.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the company's day-to-day operations and development
- Manage and develop financial and operational reports for clients, including management and oversight of on time delivery of client audits and statutory reporting.
- Oversee development of improved financial controls, policies and procedures and the use of a standard general ledger system for clients
- Provide monthly reporting to the Head of Finance on divisional financial performance
- Seek opportunities to recruit new clients and assist with business development
- Liaise with local regulatory and government (or other relevant) authorities regarding regulatory compliance and any requirements for clients
- Work with directors and senior management to develop new insurance programs and solutions for clients
- Liaise with clients to manage their specific policies and procedures and any other requirements
- Other duties as directed from time to time by the Head of Finance
The successful applicants will possess the following:
- A professional accounting designation (CA, CP, ACCA, ACII or equivalent) and 5+ years PQE.
- Qualified with a globally recognized accounting firm
- Extensive Insurance market experience at executive level and knowledge of insurance regulations
- Proven leadership and decision-making experience
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong strategic thinking with ability to challenge internally and externally in a fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
Salary Approx $250k, plus bonus benefits and full relocation package.
