Following significant growth, a leading manufacturing group has a new vacancy for a Legal Secretary to join the business. You will provide legal and compliance support, prepare legal documentation & paperwork and you will be highly organised, methodical with a strong attention to detail.

The Role:

  • The preparation of legal documents, contracts and correspondence.
  • Contract administration e.g. preparing contracts for execution, and completion activities such as scanning, filing and updating the contracts database.
  • Liaising with external counsel and Company advisors when required.
  • Managing ongoing compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Company secretarial support including processing share transfers, shareholder enquiries and making corporate filings at Companies House.
  • Assisting with biannual dividend payments.
  • Assistance with draft Board and Management agendas/minutes and AGM.
  • Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Assist in export control compliance.

The Person:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Paralegal or Legal Administrator.
  • Legal or related qualifications desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • A proactive and professional approach with a willingness to learn.
