Following significant growth, a leading manufacturing group has a new vacancy for a Legal Secretary to join the business. You will provide legal and compliance support, prepare legal documentation & paperwork and you will be highly organised, methodical with a strong attention to detail.
The Role:
- The preparation of legal documents, contracts and correspondence.
- Contract administration e.g. preparing contracts for execution, and completion activities such as scanning, filing and updating the contracts database.
- Liaising with external counsel and Company advisors when required.
- Managing ongoing compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Company secretarial support including processing share transfers, shareholder enquiries and making corporate filings at Companies House.
- Assisting with biannual dividend payments.
- Assistance with draft Board and Management agendas/minutes and AGM.
- Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist in export control compliance.
The Person:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Paralegal or Legal Administrator.
- Legal or related qualifications desirable but not essential.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- A proactive and professional approach with a willingness to learn.
