NDT Level 2 Inspector

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Remain compliant to all the required Level II certification for FPI & MPI.
  • Ensure all work and activities always follow Health and Safety guidelines.
  • The review of customer requirements / specifications against Route Cards.
  • Accurately track and update production progress in the MRP system.
  • Ensure customer orders are completed on schedule and meet high-quality standards.
  • Represent the department in customer meetings when required.
  • Support and contribute to departmental process improvements.
  • Uphold product quality by monitoring standards and executing QA-directed quality control and corrective actions.
  • Identify and report any issues that could affect work performance or departmental efficiency.
  • Carry out part marking responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Must be qualified in PCN (Personnel Certification in Non-Destructive Testing) in Level 2 Magnetic Particle Testing (MPI) & Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI).
  • Experience working in Aerospace, Automotive or a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience in completing route cards.
