Our client is one of the most successful premium multi-franchise motorcycle dealership businesses in the North of England and franchised agents for Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki & Peugeot. They live and breathe motorcycles and their 2nd generation family run dealership was established in 1980.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to join their team in their premium multi-franchise business as an Experienced Motorcycle Technician.
The successful candidate must have experience of modern motorcycles and be able to use current diagnostic equipment. From time to time you may also be required to talk to customers and as such you must be able to communicate clearly and provide technical explanations in a way that can be easily understood.
In order to secure the right candidate, we are happy to consider flexible working hours should it be necessary.
Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be an experienced Technician with substantial knowledge of working on all makes of Japanese motorcycles and scooter product. You should have the ability to work as part of a team whilst delivering an efficient rate of work and maintaining the highest quality standards.
EssentialYou should be able to work unsupervised in a safe and timely manner to high exacting standards. You must be a self-starter with a flexible can do attitude and a good attention to detail. You must possess a "right first time" attitude to your work and have a passion for all things two wheels. Your work will be of a high standard and you will be conscientious with a genuine desire to go the extra mile to meet their customer's needs. You should also hold a full UK motorcycle licence.
BenefitsThe final salary awarded to the successful candidate will be linked to existing qualifications and experience. Full manufacturer-specific training will be provided as necessary to maintain and update your product knowledge and technical abilities.
