We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether they are seniors or individuals with special needs. As a Care Worker, you will play an integral part in delivering personalised care and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care for people in their own homes.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
- Support clients with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Engage in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.

- Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, assistance with using the toilet, assistance with incontinence, and other personal care needs.

- Assist with mobility using a hoist or other aids.
- Build relationships with clients, their families, and friends.
- Engage with clients’ pastimes and hobbies.

- Perform laundry and ironing duties.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care, home care, or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of the client.
