We are looking for experienced Support Workers for Children Services with a background in residential care or nursing homes or supported living homes to provide high-quality support for children only.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to the children, tailored to their individual needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social engagement.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of service users at all times.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as per regulatory and organizational standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other professionals to deliver exceptional care.
- Follow all compliance and safeguarding protocols diligently.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience working in a care or nursing home setting, supporting children.
- DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS certificate with child workforce checks and no convictions.
- Training: Completion of all mandatory support worker training, including but not limited to:
- Safeguarding Adults & Children
- Manual Handling
- First Aid
- Health & Safety
- Infection Prevention & Control
- Autism & Epilepsy
- Prevention Management of Violation and Aggression (PMVA)
- Challenging Behaviour
