Are you an experienced Android Developer ready to join a major Engineering Transformation programme at one of the UK's leading banks? We're looking for a skilled contractor with strong Kotlin/Java expertise to help shape and deliver cutting-edge Android applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Building and maintaining advanced Android apps using Kotlin, Java, and frameworks like RxJava
  • Designing with architecture patterns like MVP, MVVM, or MVI
  • Handling the full app life cycle - from modules through to Play Store deployment
  • Optimising mobile experiences across a range of screen sizes and Android versions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features
  • Integrating APIs and external data sources
  • Writing unit tests, squashing bugs, and improving performance
  • Staying ahead with the latest tools and trends in Android development

You'll Need:

  • Solid experience with Kotlin/Java, RxJava, and Android architecture components
