CY Partners have an exciting new opportunity to join a global pharmaceutical company at their site based in Hertfordshire. The role is an initial 12 Month contract, with scope for futher. Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 p/a Key Responsibilities: Assist with setting up laboratory equipment and vessels for experiments. Help ship materials and equipment, and manage orders for glassware and consumables in STV DSD labs, including chemistry and oligo-related materials. Map, maintain, and troubleshoot RX-10 and Hubers equipment, manage parts, and organise planned maintenance and long-term replacement planning (CapEx). Conduct monthly inventory checks and reordering of Swagelok parts. Oversee planned maintenance for Process Analytical Technology (PAT) tools. Adhere to all safety protocols in the laboratory environment and comply with applicable Data Integrity, Quality, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements. Coordinate repair and servicing of STV equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Qualifications & Skills: A degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent practical experience. Prior experience in laboratory environments within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance, inventory management, and safety regulations. Knowledge of cGMP, Data Integrity, and safety protocols in laboratory settings.
